The LookWest.ie Jobs and Enterprise Expo held in the Davenport Hotel was hosted by the Western Development Commission. The LookWest campaign promotes the Western region as a great place to live, work and do business. They have had 160,000 people express an interest in moving to the West since its start up in November 2004. The event was to attract highly skilled people who wish to relocate from the greater Dublin area to the West.

The event was very successful with positive feedback from the exhibitors on the calibre and suitability of the attendees. Cora Systems believe that they will fill key vacancies as a result of the event. “The range and calibre of the candidates were of a very high standard. The publicity surrounding the event was excellent and it really showed on the day” said Mr Henry, the Research and Development Manager for Cora Systems.
